This will help us gain a better understanding of your individual skin concerns. Before commencing the treatment we will discuss and assess the current state of your skin and medical history. If you are visiting us for the first time, it is highly recommended that you book in for a Skin, Scan, Plan prior to your first treatment. Lie back and relax in one of our large, cosy, treatment beds, while we pamper your skin, starting off with a gentle double cleanse of your face, neck and decolletage. Your therapist will then analyse your skin and test the integrity of your barrier allowing them to make an informed decision on which products and ingredients will be best suited to target your specific concerns safely. A suitable peel will then be determined and applied to your skin. While helping to remove dead skin build up and pore blockages, our peels will additionally work to tone, strengthen, firm and smooth the skin. This will dramatically brighten your complexion, bringing youthful fresh cells forward and minimizing imperfections.

Next, a mask will be professionally chosen to nourish your skin according to your concerns. This will be left on, treating and hydrating the skin for approximately 10 minutes while we treat you to a luxurious scalp massage. Stay in your state of bliss as we carefully remove the mask and finish off by applying layers of serum, eye cream, moisturiser and spf to complete your treatment. This treatment requires no downtime, however depending on state of the skin and strength of peel used, some may experience minor shedding or breakouts in the week following due to increased cell turnover and toxin removal. This is not a negative outcome but simply the skin detoxifying itself and moving into a healthier state. The use of exfoliating agents, acids and topical vitamin A at home is advised to be stopped for 3-5 days post having a peeling procedure depending on the peel strength used and strength of active ingredients in your homecare products. Direct sun exposure should also be avoided for 1-2 weeks following in order to protect the skin. Clients usually notice a brighter, healthier and significantly smoother appearance and feel within their skin immediately after their treatment. In order maintain your results, you are advised to schedule regular appointments as the layers of the skin generally grow and die off at monthly intervals. Our peels are designed to be performed more frequently and less aggressively than most other peels, in order to achieve optimum results without compromising the skin. Therefore 2-4 week gaps between peeling appointments are recommended for best results. In order to prolong and maintain skin health between appointments, following a quality and consistent homecare routine including SPF is imperative.
