BY BEAUTY ON ROSE
LED Light Therapy is your answer to radiating skin.
The non-invasive treatment works at a cellular level to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve uneven skin tone, target active acne (P. Acne) and illuminate the skin. It is great at fighting acne and rosacea. The penetrating LED lights target deep into cells heightening their internal functions, stimulating dermal blood flow and creates faster healing so your skin always looks rejuvenated. Think of LED light filling up the car battery so your battery (cells) can do what they’re meant to do best.

LED (Light Emitting Diode) really is a terrific all-round for most skin conditions because it works to fill up your skin cells battery (ATP) so that your skin can function better by itself. LED can feel light a warm, bright light that sits above your face for 10-20mins. Your eyes can be covered depending on your level of comfort. While the LED is doing its magic your therapist will perform an arm massage so you can drift away enjoying pure bliss. LED is often layered with other services to give the best results.
Who are LED facials best suited to?
Everyone!! We have multiple different lights (wavelengths) that are best suited for different concerns. Blue works best superficially on acne & oily prone skin. Yellow works for healing, flushed & sensitive skins. Red works for all to aged skins to stimulate collagen production in the dermis.
How often should I get an LED facial?
You can have LED as often as every 2nd day! With this frequency we would recommend a reputable at home device or looking into an LED membership. When combined with other layers, we would recommend frequency based off their requirements. If you’re not sure what’s right for you, speak to your skin therapist with your concerns.
Will there be down time?
Nope! LED works with visible light and is not the same as UV (ultraviolet). So, LED will not damage or burn your skin. There will be no downtime with LED, you might feel a little bit flushed post treatment.
Who would you recommend LED to?
Anyone that suffers from light-based epilepsy, on light sensitised medication, active or prone to cold sores, pregnant women*
*No clinical data to show it is harmful to the baby, precautionary ‘just in case’ recommendation only. Speak to your physician for your individual needs & concerns.
