If you’ve never experienced a Vichy treatment, think of it as warm rain and enveloping steam — without ever having to leave the treatment bed. Your experience begins with beautiful body products, scrubs or masks applied to the skin and worked over the body by your therapist. The Vichy hood is then lowered and warm steam gently surrounds the body, helping to infuse the products into the skin while you simply lie back and relax.

Is there a day spa in Melbourne with a steam room and Vichy shower?
Yes. Beauty On Rose in Essendon North has steam and Vichy facilities, an infrared sauna, private treatment rooms and double suites within its 1,200-square-metre salon.
Can we book a couples massage near Essendon?
Yes. Double treatment suites are available for couples, friends, and mothers and daughters. Ask for a double room when booking a massage, ritual or experience, or see the Time Together section.
How much is a massage at Beauty on Rose?
Relax massage is $175 for 60 minutes or $245 for 90; De-Stress is $190 or $265; Pregnancy massage is $175 for 60 minutes.
What is a Vichy shower?
A Vichy treatment combines warm steam and a series of warm water jets over the treatment bed. Your therapist applies body products, scrubs or masks, continues with scalp or facial care while the steam surrounds you, then uses the Vichy rain to rinse the treatments away.
Do you do pregnancy massage?
Yes. Pregnancy massage ($175, 60 minutes) and the Inner Glow Pregnancy Ritual ($369, 100 minutes) are available after the first trimester, using a pregnancy pillow and pregnancy-safe products.
How much is the infrared sauna?
A 45-minute casual session is $55, a 20-minute express is $35, three sessions are $150 and six are $270. Add a second guest for half price.
